Stefan Pfeiffer Obituary: Pasadena high school grieves loss of students in fast-moving collision with building

Stefan Pfeiffer Obituary – Grieving students made their way back to a Pasadena high school on Monday, just a few days after their fellow classmates tragically lost their lives in a high-speed collision with a building.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday near Sierra Madre, at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Vista Street. Pasadena Police reported that a Tesla, carrying six passengers, ran a red light at an excessive speed, ultimately colliding with a curb and crashing into the building.

Tragically, three individuals were ejected from the vehicle and lost their lives. Three others sustained injuries. Authorities have revealed that the victims ranged in age from 17 to 22. It has been confirmed that some of the victims were students at Maranatha High School, as stated by school officials. In order to support the grieving students, counselors will be present at the school on Monday.

Maranatha High School expressed their deep sorrow and requested prayers for all those affected by this devastating incident. “We are mourning this tremendous loss… In this challenging time, we seek solace and strength through our faith in Christ Jesus, and we humbly ask others to join us in praying for all those who are suffering as a result of this tragedy.”

One of the victims who tragically lost their life has been identified as 20-year-old Stefan Pfeiffer, a student at Pasadena Community College, according to family members.

Lieutenant Anthony Russo of the Pasadena Police provided further details regarding the crash, emphasizing the extensive damage caused, which resulted in power outages in the vicinity. He also mentioned that the car brought down power lines and came to a stop approximately 100 feet away from the initial crash site.

Utility workers have since restored power to the affected area.
