Edwin Baawa Obituary
The victim of a fatal crash involving a speeding car hitting the vehicle he was a passenger in has been identified as Edwin Baawa, a 27-year-old man from the Newark-area.
The incident occurred on Saturday on East Chestnut Hill Road when a Ford Mustang collided with the Chevrolet Cruze that Baawa was in.
Baawa, who was in the backseat and not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
The Chevrolet driver, a 47-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while the Ford driver was unharmed. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
