Authorities were able to determine the identity of a biker who had been killed in a collision in Burbank that involved a car on Thursday. In accordance with the Burbank Police Department, the collision took place at approximately 10:10 p.m.
On Wednesday at the intersection of Olive Avenue and Beachwood Drive. San Fernando resident Christopher Torres, age 23, passed away at a hospital, according to the police.
In a statement released by the police, they stated that the driver of the sedan remained at the site and was questioned by traffic investigators.
It does not appear that alcohol or drugs played a role in this collision when it occurred. Initial observations suggest that dangerous speed is most likely a component that contributed to the incident.
