The 37-year-old victim of the most recent murder in Dennery is Asha Nelson, a resident of Aux Lyon in Dennery. The third murder in three days occurred in Dennery on Monday night.
Following a barrage of gunshots, Nelson suffered fatal wounds. On Monday at 8:45 p.m., someone reached out to the Richfond Police Department to request assistance. Nelson lay lifeless on the ground, surrounded by numerous expended rounds, when the responding police officers arrived.
Images of Nelson lying in a pool of his own blood began to circulate on social media, which was a concerning development. Nelson was seen lying in the water in the footage.
