2 killed in shooting outside Park North Shopping Center in San Antonio

Officials are collaborating with security personnel at the Alamo Draft House to collect potential suspect details.

Update: The identities of both individuals involved in the fatal shooting at a North Side shopping center on Sunday have been disclosed.

Among them, one of the victims is 22-year-old Jonyai Lavaughn Napoleon.

Authorities confirmed that Napoleon succumbed to a gunshot wound, and his passing has been classified as a homicide.

The second victim has been identified as 24-year-old Aaron Curtis Montgomery.

Two individuals have lost their lives in a shooting incident that occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center situated on the Northside of the city.

The incident took place at approximately 2 a.m. at the Park North Shopping Center, found at 618 NW Loop 410.

According to the Sergeant overseeing the scene, law enforcement officers were dispatched in response to reports of an ongoing shooting.

Upon reaching the location, they found two men, aged in their mid-to-late twenties, with gunshot injuries.

Despite the efforts of police and emergency medical services (EMS) to save their lives, both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officials are collaborating with security personnel at the Alamo Draft House to collect potential suspect details.

Although security observed two individuals fleeing the area, the Sergeant mentioned that upon the arrival of law enforcement, everyone dispersed.

There were no additional injuries reported.

The investigation is being spearheaded by officers from the Homicide Unit.
