A little after three o’clock in the afternoon, a lifeboat belonging to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in the Aran Islands was able to retrieve her body.
An operation was carried out by Gardai and emergency services in response to allegations of an incident that occurred at the Cliffs Moher this afternoon, according to a spokesman for the institution.
In the early 20s, the body of a lady was recovered from the sea by emergency personnel. The woman’s age was not specified.
According to estimates, around 1.5 million people visit the cliffs every year, making them one of the most picturesque tourist spots in Ireland.
