Jorge Arango Obituary :
Jorge Arango, a 53-year-old man from the Newark-area, has been identified by Delaware State Police as the victim of a hit-and-run incident.
The incident occurred on April 16 in Ogletown, when Arango was struck by a vehicle while crossing a crosswalk on Kingston Road at East Chestnut Hill Road at around 8:15 a.m.
The vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene in an unknown direction, and its make and model remain unidentified. Arango was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and passed away on Tuesday.
The police are actively searching for the motorist responsible for the hit-and-run and urge anyone with information or who witnessed the crash to come forward and contact investigators at (302) 365-8483.
