Law enforcement is currently responding to an active shooter incident near St. Charles City Hall on Monday morning.
According to a spokesperson, it appears that shots were fired in the underground garage vicinity near North 2nd and Monroe.
Hostage negotiators have also been deployed to the scene.
As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
