Findlay High School on lockdown due to potential swatting call

Police ask public to please stay out of the area.

Law enforcement has completed a sweep of all rooms at FHS to ensure there is no threat, confirming that the call was a swatting incident. The SafeDefend system functioned precisely as intended in this scenario. The school remains under lockdown for debriefing with police. Additional information will be provided promptly.

Around 9:40 on Tuesday morning, Findlay High School was evacuated following what the school has described as a potential swatting incident.

Despite the evacuation, some students remain inside.

Police are presently conducting a search of the school premises.
