Robert Mitchell Death, A Celebration Of Life

It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Robert Mitchell, also known as Rob Dog/Big Rob. Despite his personal battles, he remained a true friend to many, including myself. Rob was not only an incredible drummer but also a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of countless people through his passion for music and camaraderie.

I had the privilege of sharing numerous late-night jam sessions with Rob, and each one was a testament to his talent and dedication to his craft. We often talked about reuniting once life’s challenges eased for him. Rob’s unwavering spirit and love for music will always be remembered.

Robert Mitchell had a heart of gold, and his genuine nature endeared him to everyone he met. He was more than just a drummer; he was a friend who always lent a listening ear and a helping hand. His infectious enthusiasm for life and music left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

For those who wish to pay their respects to Rob, his family has organized a celebration of life. This event will take place at The First Baptist Church in White Settlement on Friday, April 26th, at 11 am. Please share this information with anyone who knew Rob and would like to join in honoring his memory.

As we gather to remember Robert Mitchell, let us celebrate the life he lived and the joy he brought to so many. May his spirit continue to inspire us, and may we all strive to keep his memory alive by cherishing the friendships and connections he helped forge. In the end, Rob’s legacy will be one of love, music, and the indomitable human spirit. Rest in peace, my friend.
