We will never forget Nancy’s bravery and the impact she had on our department and neighborhood. Her passing will be profoundly felt by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

By becoming one of the first female Cape and Island firefighter/paramedics, Nancy paved the way for many others to follow. From the moment she was hired full-time on July 1, 1986, until the end of her distinguished career, her dedication to public service shone through.

Nancy exemplified the honor, bravery, and selflessness that are hallmarks of the firefighting profession throughout her 34 years of dedicated service to the Town of Dennis.
