Nancy Moyer, a retired firefighter and paramedic who had been battling cancer that was linked to her line of work, ultimately succumbed to the sickness after a courageous and extended fight against the illness near the end of her life. Moyer had been battling the terminal illness for a number of years. Moyer had been able to protect himself against the illness for a considerable amount of time beforehand. Sadly, she was unable to recover from the illness, and as a consequence, she ultimately passed away as a consequence of these circumstances.

Everyone will miss Nancy a great deal, and there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that she will be much missed. With regard to it, there is not the slightest bit of doubt in the environment. Because she was one of the first female firemen and paramedics in the Cape and Islands, she is regarded as a pioneer in the field of emergency medical services.
This is owing to the fact that she participated in the field for the first time. The occurrence of this consequence might be attributed to the fact that she was taking part in the field for the very first time. There is also the fact that she was a pioneering woman who entered the workforce in the region, which is another point of interest. Among the women who were pioneers in the early days, she was one of them. Since the first of July in the year 1986, she has been working full-time for the Town of Dennis, where she has been delivering reliable service for more than 34 years.

She remained employed there till she attained her retirement benefits. After a period of time, she made the decision to resign from that position. As soon as she reached this point in her life, she made the decision to join the fire department, and she began her professional life after that.
