Unfortunately, we must inform you that our father, Edward Jake Kiskiel, has passed away. Our hearts are filled with sorrow. At 3:23 in the morning on April 3, 2024, he passed away. Please direct any questions or concerns to us, as our mother is currently going through a difficult time and is not available to take phone calls at this time. In recognition of the profound impact that Theresa’s father had on the lives of all individuals, we would be grateful if everyone would share photographs and recollections of him.
For as long as anyone needed him, Jake Kiskiel was there to provide a helping hand. He helped countless people who were homeless and hungry as a committed volunteer at the neighborhood soup kitchen.
The example he set with his generous acts of kindness was an inspiration to everyone in our town. Apart from his charitable work, Jake Kiskiel was a loving family man who treasured moments spent with those he cared about. Whether it was planning family gatherings or serving as host to Sunday dinners, he always made an effort to leave a legacy of treasured memories.
His friends and family will never forget the joy he brought to their lives through his humor, warmth, and unfaltering support. For more than forty years, Jake Kiskiel was not only a devoted husband and father, but also an employee at the neighborhood hardware store.
Everyone admired and respected him for his strong work ethic, honesty, and commitment to providing excellent customer service. He was well-liked by everyone in the community because he cheerfully tackled every task. Everyone who knew and loved Jake Kiskiel is grieving the loss of their loved one.
Even though we are sad to see such a remarkable man go, we find solace in the knowledge that those who were lucky enough to know him will carry his legacy of compassion and generosity with them. Jake Kiskiel, may you rest in peace.
Even now, we will carry the light of your memory with us. In accordance with his wishes, we will not be holding a funeral service for him; however, we will have an announcement made regarding a celebration of his life at a later date.
