Barbara Kraker Stanley, Obituary, Louisiana Beloved Resident Has Passed Away at Age 78

The community’s beloved Ms. Barbara Kraker Stanley will be laid to rest at the Golden Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 1 PM. Bro. Eddie Robinson and Bro. Norman Bryant will officiate the solemn ceremony, which will provide comfort and solace to those who are grieving her passing. Memorial Park Cemetery, a tranquil site that honors Ms. Stanley’s dignity and grace, will be the final resting place after the service. Guests are welcome to pay their respects from noon until one PM, during the visitation period, before the service.

On Thursday, March 28, 2024, Ms. Stanley passed away, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love and kindness, as well as an unshakeable commitment to her family. She was an inspiration to everyone around her as a devoted member of Princeton’s First Baptist Church, where she discovered comfort and strength in her faith. Her exceptional performance as an insurance adjuster for Riscom demonstrated her unwavering commitment and extensive knowledge in her industry. The qualities of perseverance, kindness, and compassion were best shown by Ms. Stanley throughout her life. She was completely focused on making sure her family was okay, doing her best to meet their needs and showering them with endless love and care.

All who were fortunate enough to know her will be inspired by her boundless selflessness and the love she left behind. The little things in life brought Ms. Stanley happiness and contentment, in addition to her career and spiritual endeavors. She took great pleasure in baking bread from scratch, pouring her heart and soul into every loaf. The handmade goods she made were an expression of her talent as a chef and her kindness as a person, and they brought happiness to everyone lucky enough to taste them. Ms. Stanley’s entrepreneurial spirit shone through as she sold her delicious baked goods, allowing her passion for baking to bring joy to others, one loaf at a time.

The love and devotion that Ms. Stanley has left behind will last for many years. Billy Stanley and his wife Joann and Greg Stanley and his wife Janet were her beloved sons, and they are the ones who will carry on her legacy. She leaves behind a loving aunt, Eleanor Perry, a brother, Barry Kraker, and his wife Jeanette; a sister, Sandra Moore, and her husband Nathan; and a brother, Barry. Ms. Stanley also leaves behind a large number of beloved extended family members, including nieces, nephews, and others.

The world may have lost Ms. Stanley’s tangible presence, but her legacy will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her. Her dear parents, Gordon and Bernice Kraker, her cherished brother, Ronnie, and niece, Jessice Moore, all passed away before she was born.

The lives of those lucky enough to have known, loved, and confided in her will be illuminated by her enduring spirit, even though she has departed from this world. May the precious memories we shared bring us comfort as we gather to say goodbye to Ms. Barbara Kraker Stanley. We can also take solace in knowing that she has found eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Creator.
