On March 9, 2024, Ryan Puckett, a beloved resident of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, departed this life while his parents were there to support him. Ryan was an Oshkosh native who excelled academically, was a talented chef, and had a strong bond with his family.
Academic and Personal Achievements
With pride, Ryan graduated from Jefferson City High School in 2006, setting the groundwork for his future pursuits. He continued his education at the University of Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2010—a degree that bears witness to his perseverance and passion for academic success.
A Talented Chef and Avid Gamer
Ryan’s interests went beyond the classroom. His mouthwatering creations in the kitchen delighted friends and family, and he was well known for his culinary prowess. Ryan also enjoyed playing video games, losing himself in their world and taking comfort in the rush of going fishing.
A Devoted Father Above All Else
Ryan had a lot of interests, but fatherhood brought him the most happiness. He showed unwavering devotion and love in every interaction, cherishing every moment he spent with his son. Those closest to him felt that his identity as a father shaped who he was.
Fondly Remembered by Loved Ones
Ryan leaves behind his mother, Norma Puckett, and brother, Eugene Puckett, who all still reside in Paris, Kentucky, along with his devoted wife of thirty-four years, June Puckett. In addition, he leaves behind six children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom will always remember him.
Even though Ryan is no longer with us, the people he touched during his lifetime carry on his legacy. The people who knew Ryan the best, from his grandparents to his extended family, will always be inspired and guided by his spirit.
