Norman Brouillette, a beloved resident of Pottsboro, Texas, and a highly respected veteran post member, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 28th. His passing has left a void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. He will be fondly remembered for his commitment to his community as well as his service to his country.
Norman’s presence will be sorely missed, and those who had the good fortune to have known him will carry his legacy of selflessness and camaraderie with them forever in their memories.
Norman’s bravery and unfaltering patriotism were on full display in his dedication to serving his nation as a veteran. His leadership and friendship improved the lives of people around him, and his contributions to our veteran post were priceless. We will always remember and honor Norman for his unwavering commitment to helping other veterans and his tireless efforts to do so.
Along with his time in the military, Norman was a beloved friend to many because of his welcoming personality, abundance of kindness, and generosity. Through his contagious laughter, real empathy, and constant encouragement, he possessed an extraordinary talent for lifting people up. Norman had an impact on everyone he met, whether it was through telling stories about his life or by helping those in need.
As we pay tribute to Norman, let us recommit to encouraging and supporting one another, as he did all of his life. May we be comforted by the warm recollections we cherish and strengthened by the knowledge that Norman will always be remembered positively by everyone who knew and loved him.
On Sunday, April 28th, at one o’clock in the afternoon, a Celebration of Life service will be held for Norman Brouillette at VFW Post 7873, which can be found at 250 VFW Drive, Pottsboro, Texas 75076. Chicken will be served immediately after the service, and those in attendance are encouraged to bring a side dish to share with the other guests.
Friends and loved ones will have the chance to come together at this gathering to celebrate Norman’s life and the contributions he made to the community. They will also have the opportunity to exchange memories of Norman.
