The victim has been identified as Dr Zamambo Mkhize affectionately known to many as “Dr Zama Mkhize”. According to reports, Dr Zama passed away after she was found in the trunk of her car.l

She was discovered crammed in the trunk of her automobile on Friday of the previous week. A car belonging to her was discovered abandoned in Imbali Township. It is very upsetting that Dr. Mkhize was murdered at a time when our nation is facing a severe lack of medical specialists. This is one of the reasons why the crime is so unsettling. Yunis Chotia, a pharmacist who worked in the Pietermaritzburg area, was shot and killed earlier this month.
Dr. Mkhize’s murder came shortly after the murder of another health worker, Yunis Chotia, who was responsible for the murder. Dr. Zamambo Siphokazi Mkhize was murdered, and the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Professor Blade Nzimande, has expressed his disapproval of the violence.
