Dad (Calico), whose real name was Keith Keilar, died away today. Just a few days before he passed away, he would have been 104 years old. His amiability was well-known both in the community and at the nursing home where the elderly were housed. The neighborhood and the building were both a part of this.
The Illinois city of Decatur is where Keith came into this world in 1990, on June 15th. His place of birth is in the state of Illinois. He came into this world inside the bounds of America. Katie Viola (Schrock) Chupp and Kenneth L. Chupp were his parents. His biological father was the inspiration for his name. He adopted the surname of his father.
He was their son, the couple said. He was married to Marilyn Kay Helmuth until they consummated their marriage on May 27, 2010. It was during the 2010–2011 school year when this occurred. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kay (Helmuth) Chupp of Tuscola, IL, one daughter, Janelle Rose Chupp (11) at home, his parents, Kenneth and Katie (Schrock) Chupp of Tuscola, IL, six siblings, Loretta Fern Herschberger and her husband Jason of Arthur, IL, Mary Lorene Helmuth and her husband Glen of Arthur, IL, Rose Ann Chupp of Tuscola, IL, Treva Kay Chupp of Tuscola, IL, Verlin Chupp and his wife Corrina (Schrock) of Tuscola, IL and Wayne Chupp and his wife Marlene (Yoder) of Arthur, IL, three nieces, five nephews, his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Mary Chupp of Tuscola, IL and his maternal grandmother, Edna Fern Schrock of Arcola, IL.
Among those who went away was Reuben J. Schrock, who was his maternal grandpa. Two uncles, Ernie Yoder and Ervin Schrock, and three cousins also passed away. Prior to his birth, all of these people had already passed away.
Even his mother-in-law Nancy Waelde and son Gabriel Hierman had already departed before he did. His father was Thomas Leland Hierman. Each of them came before him in his own way. He is still the sole survivor from his family to have survived this ordeal.
Throughout his tenure as a Mechanical Engineer with Ford Motor Company, Keith had a fruitful and award-winning career. As a lifelong sports enthusiast who bleeds Maize and Blue, Keith also has a soft spot for the Chicago Cubs and the Detroit Tigers, two of baseball’s most storied franchises.
Both teams had Keith’s support. In his leisure time, he indulged in his passions for watching movies, traveling, sipping wine, and indulging in well cooked filet mignon. He also began playing tennis with his family and going for walks not long ago. He was excited to begin. Furthermore, he never missed a chance to cheer on his sons when they competed in anything. Such chances never slipped his mind.
