The passing of Waz, who was at home and surrounded by the love of her family, is something that Daniel, Zoe, Riley, and Noah bring to your attention with a great degree of sorrow. Waz was surrounded by the affection of her family. Waz, to whom Daniel was married, will be much missed by Daniel, who was married to Waz. A treasured member of the family, she is the mother and mother-in-law of Zoe and Andrew, Riley, and Noah.
She is also the mother of three grandchildren. Saph, Temp, and Darcy, who were cherished by everyone, had a nanny and a grandmother. As a sister, Lyle holds her in high regard. There were a great number of people who admired Waz, and all of her close friends would miss her terribly.
Ross Funerals Maryborough Chapel, which can be found at the intersection of Russell and Stafford Streets, will be the location of the funeral service for Waz, which will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 10:30 in the morning. Daniel, Zoe, Riley, and Noah have extended an invitation to their friend and family members to join them at the memorial service that they are attending.
In the year 1916, on November 19th, she was born in Ringling, Oklahoma, and her birthday is November 19th. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Dierks Church of Christ. In addition, she was actively involved in the community.
Her parents, Oscar and Mary Lankford McConnell, as well as her husband, Bob Ashford, who passed away in 1996, came before her in death. Mrs. Ashford was the last surviving member of her family.
Her sons and daughters-in-law are, in order, John Ashford of Nashville, Joe and Faye Ashford of Dierks, and James and Helen Ashford of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Each of these families resides in their own distinct cities. It is also noteworthy that she is survived by one sister, Minnie Sandbeck, who resides in Natchez, Mississippi, in addition to five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
