Beloved son and brother Tye Lawson of Langley, British Columbia has sadly passed away. He died in a tragic car accident on Sunday 17th March 2024 at the age of 20 leaving behind his beloved family and friends who will forever miss him.
He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that says “My heart is broken. My close friends, Michelle & Travis, lost their son in a horrific car accident this week. This family has been through so much in recent years and I can’t help but wonder, why is life so unfair”.
Through his contagious laughter and unflinching generosity, Tye has been a shining example of positivism, dazzling the world with his boundless kindness. The people who have had the opportunity to interact with him frequently discover that they are pulled to his magnetic personality. They are unable to resist the warmth of his smile and the sincerity of his heart. A true delight to watch was the joyful temperament that he possessed. The very fact that he was present has the power to transform even the gloomiest of days into moments of pure sunshine.

A GoFundMe account has been created by Matthew Liang on Tuesday 19th March 2024 in order to help with Tye Lawson’s funeral and memorial expenses. The goal of the account was set to raise the sum of $60,000 but as at the time this report was made the sum of $5,425 has been raised with the help of 71 individuals.
