Tomma Kay “Sissy” Wright, who was 57 years old and from Shinnston, passed away in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport on Monday, March 18, 2024. She was a resident of Shinnston. During her time at Shinnston, she lived there. She resided there while she was attending Shinnston University. 1966 was the year that she was born, and she was born in Fairmont on the 22nd of April. Burl Earl and Ruby Dale Linn Cottrill had both passed away prior to her birth, despite the fact that she was born. Both of her parents had passed away before she was born. With the exception of her, neither of them had any further children.
On April 15, 1995, she tied the knot with Timothy Lane Wright, who is still living today. The wedding took place on that day. It is still possible to see a representation of the date when they held their wedding. In addition, she is survived by her two children, Justin Lane Wright and his wife Ashley, who reside in Shinnston, and Amy Renae Stevens and her husband James, who reside in Mannington; her six grandchildren, Kailynn, Kamrynn, Bricynn, Kathrynn, Aubree, and Corbin; her siblings, Debbie Wright and her husband Mike, who reside in Meadowbrook; Connie Wiles and her husband Carl, who reside in Shinnston; Karen Pumphrey and her husband Paul, Owings; Edward Linn, Bridgeport; and a number of nieces and nephews. Sissy’s parents had already departed away before she was born, and she also had a brother named Timmy Cottrill who had also passed away before she was born.
Sissy was the only child of her parents. Both of Sissy’s parents had already passed away before to the birth of their daughter. Sissy was always more concerned about the happiness and well-being of other people than she was with her own personal concerns, despite the fact that she was a friend to everyone. She was constantly concerned about the comfort and happiness of other people. The act of baking was something that she and her granddaughters liked doing together, and she also took pleasure in making her family meals. These two activities were among her most cherished pastimes. In addition to the fact that she was a lovely mother, she was known as “Nanny” by each and every child throughout her entire life.
Additionally, she was a wonderful mother. Sissy’s favorite things to do before she passed away were to go camping and to the beach. She loved both of these activities. She was a huge fan of each of these interests.
While the family is going through this difficult time, they would want to show their gratitude to the medical experts who are working in the Critical Care Unit and Cancer Unit at United Hospital Center, as well as those who are working in WVU Home Health. The work that each of them is doing is outstanding. The Perine Funeral home, which can be found in Shinnston at 1348 S.
