Milbank, South Dakota is the location where Joseph “Joe” James Keller was born on March 28, 1985. He was the youngest of Timothy Keller and Kay (Dahlgren) Keller’s three children.
He was the youngest of the three. The St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank was the location of Joe’s baptism ritual. He attended Milbank High School and received his diploma in 2003. He was born and raised in Milbank. In the years following his graduation from high school, Joe went to Northern State University in Aberdeen for a period of one year.
Subsequently, he went back to Milbank, where he worked at the radio station and, eventually, at Hardee’s. In order to be nearer to his pals, Joe relocated to Brookings. For the duration of his time in Brookings, he held positions at Daktronics and 3M, and most recently, he worked as a nighttime security guard at Bel Brands. Joe was something of a gamer.
He had an outstanding gaming setup in his home and possessed a collection of gaming systems that included a wide variety of gaming consoles. At all times, he was in possession of profound ideas and conversations that he shared with everyone. His compassion and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.
His father, Timothy “Tim” Keller, of Milbank, South Dakota, his sister, Holly (Chad) Folk of Milbank, South Dakota, and his three nephews, Andrew Folk, Evan Folk, and Isaac Folk, all of Milbank, South Dakota, will always love and miss Joe sincerely. Joseph Keller will be remembered with affection forever. His mother, Kay Keller, his brother, Tim Jr. Keller, and his grandparents, Warren and Gladys Dahlgren, as well as Mike and Iva Keller, all passed away before him.
