On March 14, 2024, Randy Cardona passed away, and it is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you. In our community, Randy was a well-liked and respected member who was well-known for his generosity, dedication, and affection for the younger generation. His nephews, Justin Milam, Jacob Harper, Griffin Harper, Blake Folsom, Brian Ross, Jamie Hornbuckle, and Matt Howell, will have the honor of serving as pallbearers at the funeral service.
The members of his shooting club will be honored to serve as pallbearers. As an individual who worked for himself in the real estate and gas station industries, Randy enjoyed a life that was both satisfying and fruitful; he was successful. In the course of his career, he navigated it with determination and passion, and his entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly.
It was well known that Randy had a quick wit and that he was a devoted father to his two children, Jason and Jared. In addition to being a grandfather, Randy was also a loving husband, and he took tremendous pride and satisfaction in both of these roles. Camping and rafting trips along the Alapaha and Flint rivers provided him with the opportunity to build many memories with his sons, experiences that will be cherished for the rest of their lives along these rivers.
Even though Randy is no longer physically here among us, his spirit will continue to live on because of the uncountable lives that he touched and the memories that he generated. This will ensure that his legacy will endure. It is our duty to ensure that his light continues to shine brightly in our hearts by carrying forward his legacy with grace and compassion. This is our job.
When we think about Randy, let us also remember to take pleasure in each and every moment that we are given, to love with all of our hearts, and to live our lives with the same boundless joy and generosity that he so effortlessly exemplified.
