David Bianco Obituary, Death, Forest City, Pennsylvania, Learn More About David Bianco

Sunday, March 17, 2024 was the day when David Bianco, who resided in Pleasant Mount, Pennsylvania, passed away at the age of 72. We shall all miss him until the end of our days because he was a wonderful friend, brother, uncle, father, son, and brother, and he had a wonderful sense of humor. He was also a kind and generous spouse. David was an engaged member of the community and a devoted partner to his family.

He was a former member of the illustrious Butch’s Golf Tournament as well as Wivey’s Golf League. In addition, he was a former head coach of the Forest City Little League Cougars. He was also an ardent skier at Elk Mountain with a passion for the sport. After receiving his high school diploma from Forest City Regional High School in 1969, David Bianco, who was born in Carbondale to Clara Golecki Bianco, Forest City, and the late Sam Bianco, attended Forest City.

After that, he went on to receive a scholarship from the Small Town Scholarship to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors in 1972, and then he moved on to Dickinson School of Law, where he graduated in 1976. Before relocating to Vandling in 1977, he worked as an Assistant Attorney General in Harrisburg. He then moved back to his hometown. After his return, he worked as a staff attorney for Northern Pennsylvania Legal Services. After that, he joined Robert Fields in the practice of general law, which included offices in Forest City and Waymart. He was aided by paralegals Donna Tedesco and Donna Sredenschek, who had passed away.

Between the years 1984 and 1988, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney for Wayne County, for the District Attorney Raymond Hamill, who was in office at the time. He had previously served as a solicitor for Mount Pleasant Township, Union Dale Borough, and the Wayne County Department of Children and Youth Services. Additionally, he had previously been a member of the both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Wayne County Bar Association. In acknowledgment of the volunteer work that David has done for several local civic organizations, the city of Forest City bestowed upon him the title of Distinguished Citizen in 2017 and also presented him with a Key to the City. In January of 2018, he decided to retire from the profession of law.

Her father, Sam Bianco, and their two young daughters, Mae Elizabeth and Emily Rose Bianco, all passed away before David. David is the only child of his parents. In addition to his mother, Clara Bianco, and his wife, Janette Bianco, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Naoko Bianco, who reside in Mechanicsville, Virginia; his daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and Jeffrey Nguyen, who reside in Madison, Alabama; his sisters, Barbara Pasterchik and her husband Kevin, who reside in Binghamton, New York; Sandra Guman and her husband Richard, who reside in Archbald, Pennsylvania; a number of nieces and nephews; and, finally, his cherished grandchildren, Sanna Bianco and Aiden Nguyen, who were the source of his happiness and the light of his life.

While David was in his final days, the family would like to express their gratitude and acknowledgement to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit in Dunmore, Pennsylvania for the compassionate care that they provided for him. At 10:00 in the morning on Friday, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, which is located at 739 Delaware Street in Forest City. There will be a burial at Union Dale Cemetery. Thursday, from four o’clock until seven o’clock, there will be a viewing at the Kevin Lesjack Funeral Home, which is located at 513 Main Street in Forest City.
