On September 12, 2008, Daniel Field, who was 81 years old, passed away in the Mountain Ridge Health Care Centre in Franklin. On June 12, 1927, he was born in Sharon, Massachusetts, to parents named Wilbert Field and Edna (Drake) Field.
As a veteran of World War II, he served in the United States Navy Reserves. It was from the University of Massachusetts that he received his degree. Over the course of forty-five years, he was employed in the insurance industry in Boston by multinational corporations such as Frank B. Hall, Fireman’s Fund, and John Hancock.
Over the course of more than four decades, he was actively associated with the Masons and held the position of Grand Master of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge A.F. & A.M. from 1967 to 1968. He was a member of Olive Branch Lodge #16, which was located in the Plymouth region. He was a devoted supporter of the Boston Bruins, the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Celtics, and the Boston Patriots. It was clear that he was a devoted fan of the football team at Plymouth Regional High School. The year 2003 marked his relocation to Plymouth, where he lived with his nephew Michael Currier, who was also a resident of Plymouth, his wife Robin, and his children Kelly and Lindsay.
Among the other members of the family are a niece named Lynn Currier who resides in Randolph, Massachusetts; a nephew named Steven Currier who resides on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina; and wonderful nieces and nephews. In addition to his dedication to his family and the community, Daniel was an avid admirer of the great outdoors, and he discovered that the natural environment provided him with both calm and comfort.
Fishing, camping, and exploring the untamed beauty of the country in North Dakota were some of the activities that he enjoyed doing in his spare time. As they come together to mourn the loss of Daniel, his loved ones find solace in the memories they treasure and the times they spent together throughout their time of being together. For the rest of their lives, everyone who had the good fortune to have known him will always remember the joy, wisdom, and unwavering support that he provided.
Despite the fact that the loss itself may be intolerable, the loved ones of Daniel find comfort in the knowing that he is no longer suffering and is at rest. As they work through this challenging time, they offer each other words of encouragement and find solace in the memories that are significant to them.
Due to the fact that Daniel has passed away, there is a void in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. The legacy he leaves behind of love, compassion, and service will continue to inspire subsequent generations to realise their full potential. During this trying time, his loved ones, friends, and the entire town of Fargo will miss him as much as they possibly can.
