A remarkable person, Alex Ptak, who was a valued resident of Tonawanda, has passed away, and the community is going through a profound sense of loss as they say their goodbyes to him. Remembering Alex Ptak with affection is the purpose of this. Alex, who was born and raised in Tonawanda, was deeply embedded in the fabric of the town, and he left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Alex’s legacy will go on forever.
As a result of his absence, a void has been created that will continue to be felt for a considerable amount of time in the future. After ten years of leadership at the Rufus King School for the College Bound, where he had been employed by the school, he decided to depart from his position there earlier this year.
His incredible wife, Celleste Mickkelsen, was introduced to him while he was attending Yankton Christian College in South Dakota. This was the beginning of their lives together.
It was at that moment that they were aware of the shared passions that they shared for music, education, and faith. The year was 1957, and they did something that was entirely out of the ordinary: they packed their automobile with a few goods and made the long journey to Milwaukee in quest of teaching employment. They were looking for a job in Milwaukee. Never once did they turn around. Whenever he was in the company of other individuals, whether he was coaching, mentoring, or being a volunteer.
He exhibited the following behaviors anytime he was in the company of other people, regardless of whether he was coaching, mentoring, or volunteering. These behaviors were consistent regardless of the context in which he was: In the time that he spent with them, whether it was through activities such as golfing (or at least attempting to…), hunting, playing cards, or telling beautiful stories, the goal was to develop genuine and loving connections. He did this by engaging in activities such as these.
Regardless of the activities that were carried out, this was always the correct conclusion. It was always the case that this was the proper conclusion, regardless of the operations that were carried out. His loyal wife, Celleste, as well as his three children and their partners, Greg and Jackie (Stuver Hogan), are among those who will carry on his legacy.
Deb and La Jerne (Terry Cornish), as well as Tom and Patti Ptak; his brothers Rich and Jim; his grandchildren Daniel, Kim, Emily (Clover), Josh, Alex, and Makenna; his great-grandson Lucas; and his niece Diane and nephew Barry all passed away. Additionally, he was survived by his great-grandson Lucas on his own. In addition, he was left behind by his great-grandson Lucas, who was an independent individual.
In addition to this, his great-grandson Lucas, who was a self-sufficient person, abandoned him and left him behind. The gathering that is set to take place on Saturday, December 17th, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
