After experiencing a period of decreasing health, Mary Alice Meade Branzelle, who was 84 years old and lived in Sutherland, Virginia, passed away in a calm manner on November 23, 2023. Richlands, Virginia is where Mary spends her entire life. James and Edna Meade had a total of eleven children, and Mary was one of them.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, including her sisters Dorothy Maloyed and Mildred Irby, as well as her brothers Bill, Dan, Fred, Jim, Reese, and Tom. Her parents also passed away before her. John “Rusty” (Betty), Dennis (Audra), and Robert (Mary) are her three sons who are left behind after her passing. The grandchildren she has are as follows: Brandon, Brittney (Dave), Berkley (Trey), Blake (Dakota), Matthew (Samantha), Meredith (Mitchell), Preston, Jonathan (Miranda), and Ben (Haley).
The following great-grandchildren are also included: Kenley, Dallas, Addison, Jackson, Kassidy, Kennedy, Brayden, Easton, Kellan, and Graham. In addition, Mary is survived by her sisters Ruby Rawlings (Al) and Margaret McDaniel, as well as by her particular friends and family members, including Thom and Francene Green, Abbie Bennett, Pam Workman, and Dottie Lambert.
Mary had great pride in her family and delighted in the opportunity to spend time with them. During her time at Central Baptist Church, Mary was a member. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to At Home Care Hospice as well as the personnel at Lucy Corr Nursing Home, who were extremely kind and sympathetic.
