In Salina, Kansas, on October 10, 2023, Daniel Mitchell Hass, who had reached the age of 24 at the time of his passing, passed away. Daniel was born on March 7, 1999, in the city of Albuquerque, which is located in the state of New Mexico. The delivery of their son was carried out by his parents, Frank Kensell and JoAnn Kathleen (Meek) Hass. Up until very recently, Daniel held the position of Chef at Daimaru, where he worked all the time.
In addition to having a profound respect for the outdoors, Daniel also had a profound affection for their presence. When he got the chance, he would go fishing, ride his bike, hike trails, or go for long walks in the fresh air. He would do all of these things whenever he had the opportunity. He was a person who possessed the quality of curiosity, and he was constantly interested in gaining more knowledge about the world that surrounded him. Those who knew him were left with countless memories of laughter as a result of his hilarious character.
His sense of humor was contagious, and those who knew him were left with his infectious sense of humor. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the individual who was involved in the incident. This inquiry is being carried out as a result of the unfortunate event that took place in Newark’s North Ward on Tuesday evening. As a result of the fact that the incident was initially reported at roughly 11:45 p.m., it has garnered a considerable amount of attention from the people who live in the local neighborhood.
Following the receipt of a call concerning the matter, the police were dispatched to a location in the 800 block of Dillard Court in order to carry out an investigation into a report of an individual who had been hurt. Ascertaining whether or not the individual had been injured was the purpose of the investigation that was being conducted. The officers found a male victim who had evidently sustained injuries that had not been reported to them previously. This was revealed after they arrived at the scene.
At the time of the accident, however, he was pronounced dead at the location where the procedure was being performed. Taking into consideration the sequence of events that led up to the tragedy, the Essex County Homicide Task Force was soon asked to take over the responsibility of conducting the investigation. My prayer is that he is at peace in the hereafter, secure in the knowing that he was loved and appreciated by everyone who had the honor of being able to call him a friend.
