In spite of the fact that we are grieving his departure, we have gathered here to celebrate a life that was full of love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished for all time by those who had the honor of knowing him. Lawrence was born into this world in Chicago, and subsequently found comfort and delight on the tranquil sands of Mackinac Island.
His life journey was distinguished by adventure, tenacity, and an unrelenting enthusiasm for life. She was born in Chicago. Over the course of his 94 years, he left an indelible mark on the lives of many people via his unflinching spirit, kindness, and generosity. Lawrence, who was a well-liked part of the communities of both Chicago and Mackinac Island, left behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to motivate all those individual who had the privilege of knowing him.
