I would be grateful if you could fulfill this request. The death of her husband, Kenneth Gosnell, occurred last night, and it is possible that he suffered a heart attack as the reason of death. The age of the man was 68. Given that both of his parents, Ruben and Esther Mae Rice Gosnell, had already passed away prior to his birth, it was already too late for him to be born. His parents had both passed away before he was ever born. At the time of Kenneth English’s passing, both of his parents had already passed away, and his daughter Linda Gail English had also passed away before to his own passing.
By the time Kenneth passed away, both of his parents had already passed away. Kenneth was the last surviving member of his family. There was widespread awareness at the time regarding the fact that Kenneth was employed in the truck driving industry. His handle was either “Grey Diamond” or “Flat Top,” and it varied depending on where he was. His handle was also known as “Griy Diamond.” It was the same handle that he used in both instances. In both of these situations, he utilized the same handle from the beginning.
The fact that he was employed in the capacity of a welcoming person was something that his friends who worked as truck drivers were all aware of that he was doing. Other buddies of his were employed in the trucking industry. Kenneth would be seen with a toothpick in his mouth the large majority of the time, and he would never miss an occasion to offer you a piece of peppermint candy. He would do this whenever he had the chance. Additionally, he would never forget to hand you a toothpick. He would always remember to do so.
He was a man who was very competitive and played Rook on a regular basis. Rook was a game that he and his family played quite frequently. He was also a man who played it on a regular basis. Kenneth was the person that his family turned to for support whenever they experienced a situation in which they required aid. Whenever his family members called him for anything, regardless of the time of day or night, he would drop everything to attend to their need. He would do this regardless of the circumstances.
This is something that he would do regardless of the circumstances. He would carry out this conduct regardless of the circumstances that he was living under. The criteria that he had set for himself were not something that he would take into consideration when it came to himself. His family’s endearing nickname for Kenneth, who was a rock and a constant, was “Pappaw.” Kenneth was a rock and a constant. Always there for them, he was there for them. Additionally, if his family had known him, they would have described him in this fashion if they had used that term.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Oma Shelton Gosnell; daughters, Sandy Metcalf (Ray), Wilma Keller (Daniel) and Judy Shelton (Gene); grandchildren, Kelsey Keller (David), Falecia Thomas (David), Scottie Shelton (Tina), Cynthia Smith (Timothy), Tyler Keller, Kayla Metcalf (Tyler) and Raegan Metcalf and great grandchildren, Dakota and Halley. On Friday, February 12, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., the memorial service that is set to take place will be held at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel at Blue Ridge Memorial ceremony.
This chapel will serve as the location for the actual memorial service. Regarding the scheduling or date of the memorial ceremony, there has been no decision taken as of yet. Furthermore, Reverend Steve Honeycutt will serve as the person in charge of the ceremony, and he will preside over the event to ensure its success.
Following the conclusion of the funeral service, the deceased individual will be laid to rest at the Gosnell Cemetery, which is located in the Revere Community area. There will be a reception held prior to the ceremony, beginning at 12:30 p.m. and running until 2:00 p.m., and the family and friends of the dead will be asked to attend. The reception will take place before the service.
