His passing is keenly mourned by all of the former members of the Mossley Community Radio Team who had the honor of getting to know Dave. In addition to being a fellow member, he was also a friend, a guide, and a source of motivation for each and every one of us involved. Dave left an unforgettable impact on the hearts of those who had the opportunity of experiencing his dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our city. His dedication, passion, and commitment to our community were unequaled.
Dave’s presence brought about a multitude of positive changes in our lives. His genuine warmth and contagious excitement filled up the room wherever he was, whether it was on the field, in meetings, or during social occasions. Those who were struggling could always count on him to be there to provide a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. He was a natural leader. The extent of his selflessness and compassion was unbounded, and the legacy of kindness that he left behind will continue to motivate us for many years to come.
In spite of our grief over Dave’s passing, we take comfort in the memories we have of the times we spent with him. Every moment that was spent in Dave’s company was a demonstration of his genuine enthusiasm for our sport and his unflinching commitment to our community.
This included both memorable matches and successes and defeats that were experienced together. All those who had the pleasure of knowing him will sorely miss his infectious humor, his profound wisdom, and his unflappable spirit.
