Chad Joseph Brittingham Obituary, Chad Joseph Brittingham Has Died, November 7, 1985 – March 12, 2024

had Joseph Brittingham, age 38, of Bethel, Delaware, passed away on March 12th, 2024. Chad was born on November 7th, 1985, in Seaford, to Karl Brittingham and Laurie Hill Jones. Chad graduated from Laurel High School, and after graduation he enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, golfing, woodworking, and watching the Baltimore Orioles and the 49’rs.

Chad was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion and attended “The Ark Church”. Chad’s most important legacy was his family and he dearly enjoyed spending time with his daughter Kayla and his entire family.  Chad is survived by his mother, Laurie Jones and his step-dad, Glenn Jones; his father, Karl Brittingham; his loving wife, whom he married on August 3rd, 2019, Liz Danny Hernandez; daughter, Kayla Brittingham; step-sons, Jhon Aguirre, Miguel Aguirre; sisters, Amy Townsend, Katie Mumford (Cliff); brother, Joshua Brittingham, step-brother, Russell Jones (Casandra); nieces and nephews, Breanna, Carlie, Gabe, Owen, Julie, Isabella, Cole and Kai; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his favorite beloved dog “Cooper” also survive him. Chad is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joann and Earl Brittingham, and his maternal grandparents, Bonnie and Frankie Hill.

A visitation will be held from 11am- 12pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Seaford Wesleyan Church- The Ark, 26630 Sussex Hwy Seaford, Delaware 19973. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. at the church.  Pastor Dave Kiser will officiate. Interment will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel, Delaware. The death occurred on March 12th, 2024, of Chad Joseph Brittingham, who was 38 years old and lived in Bethel, Delaware. Chad Brittingham was born in Seaford on November 7th, 1985. His parents, Karl Brittingham and Laurie Hill Jones, were his parents. Following his graduation from Laurel High School, Chad pursued a variety of hobbies throughout his life, including farming, fishing, hunting, golfing, carpentry, and following the Baltimore Orioles and the San Francisco 49ers.

Chad was a Christian who attended “The Ark Church” and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. The most significant inheritance that Chad left behind was his family, and he greatly treasured the time he got to spend with his daughter Kayla and the rest of his family. Chad is survived by his mother, Laurie Jones and his step-dad, Glenn Jones; his father, Karl Brittingham; his loving wife, whom he married on August 3rd, 2019, Liz Danny Hernandez; daughter, Kayla Brittingham; step-sons, Jhon Aguirre, Miguel Aguirre; sisters, Amy Townsend, Katie Mumford (Cliff); brother, Joshua Brittingham, step-brother, Russell Jones (Casandra); nieces and nephews, Breanna, Carlie, Gabe, Owen, Julie, Isabella, Cole and Kai; several aunts, uncles, cousins and his favorite beloved dog “Cooper” also survive him. Joann and Earl Brittingham, Chad’s maternal grandparents, as well as Bonnie and Frankie Hill, his paternal grandparents, passed away before Chad was born. On Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

There will be a visitation held from 11 am to 12 pm at the Seaford Wesleyan Church- The Ark, which is located at 26630 Sussex Hwy Seaford, Delaware 19973. There will thereafter be a funeral service held in the church at twelve o’clock. It will be officiated by Pastor Dave Kiser.

It is planned that the interment will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel, Delaware.
