March 9, 2024. On Saturday March 9, 2024 Detectives from the Auburn Police Department notified Oxford PD that they were investigating a past shooting incident. Auburn Detectives determined that the shooting had occurred earlier in the evening at Boulder Industrial Park in North Oxford, in the area of RJH Concrete Co.
The 21yo mal victim was being treated for a single gunshot wound to the neck area. He was treated and being released. Oxford Police assumed the investigation. It was determined that a male, later identified as 29yo Christopher Tetreault of Southbridge, MA, was working with a group in the area of RJH Co.
The victim and witnesses alleged that Tetreault had a confrontation with the victim and his friends. The argument became physical, and Tetreault shot the victim. The victim was able to drive off and seek medical treatment. Everyone involved knew each other, and it was an isolated situation with no ongoing threat to the public. Tetreault’s vehicle was discovered in Warren, MA early the next morning parked near the home of a relative. Tetreault and a relative were apprehended by Warren, West Brookfield and Mass. State Police. Tetreault’s relative was arrested on separate charges by Warren Police. Christopher.
Tetreault was transported to Oxford PD where he was booked on charges of, Assault to Murder and A&B with a Firearm. He was held on $50,000 cash bail and arraigned at dudley distric. The Oxford Police Department was informed by detectives from the Auburn Police Department on Saturday, March 9, 2024, that they were conducting an investigation into a previous gunshot incident. It was found by Auburn Detectives that the shooting had taken place earlier in the evening at Boulder Industrial Park in North Oxford, namely in the vicinity of RJH Concrete Co. The victim, a male who was 21 years old, was receiving medical attention for a single gunshot wound to the neck region. After receiving treatment, he is now discharged.
This inquiry was taken over by the Oxford Police. After further investigation, it was discovered that a man named Christopher Tetreault, who was 29 years old and from Southbridge, Massachusetts, was collaborating with a gang in the region of RJH County.
There was a confrontation between Tetreault and the victim and his friends, according to the victim and witnesses who witnessed the incident. Tetreault shot the victim as the dispute escalated into a physical altercation. It was possible for the victim to get away in their vehicle and seek medical attention.
The event was localized, and there was no ongoing threat to the general public. All of the individuals involved were familiar with one another.
An early morning the next day, the automobile belonging to Tetreault was found parked close to the residence of a relative in Warren, Massachusetts.

Police from Warren, West Brookfield, and the Massachusetts State Police were able to detain Tetreault and a relative respectively. A relative of Tetreault was taken into custody by the Warren Police Department on other allegations.
Christopher Tretreault was taken to the Oxford Police Department, where he was detained on charges of criminal assault with a firearm and assault with the intent to murder. He was arraigned in Dudley District Court after being held on a cash bail of fifty thousand dollars.
