An officer of the Fenton Police Department passed away in the comfort of his own home in the early hours of Thursday morning. He was surrounded by the things that he knew and loved. Due to the fact that this officer has passed away, the department is currently in a state of mourning.
It was in the early hours of Thursday morning that Sgt. William Andringa passed away unexpectedly at his residence. He was at home at the time. The City of Fenton Police agency was created in the year 1998, and Sergeant Andringa has been a member of the agency ever since it was first brought into existence.
It was the goal of the Fenton Police Department to retire Sergeant Andringa in the month of April, as stated by the department’s official statement. In light of the fact that the police department has requested that members of the general public keep the officer’s family, friends, and coworkers in their thoughts and prayers, the general public is being asked to do so. The juvenile offender who was found guilty of sexual assault and handed a sentence of imprisonment resides in Grand Blanc Township. As soon as the city of Fenton, together with Fenton Fire Chief Bob Cairnduff and the Fenton Fire Department, became aware of Andringa’s demise, they quickly communicated the heartbreaking news of their colleague’s passing to the rest of the community.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the police department and Sgt. Andringa’s family,” the fire department announced on its social media pages, and they extended those same feelings to the police department as well. “We believe that this is the right thing to do.”Additionally, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office published a statement in response to the news that Andringa had passed away. The statement was given by Chris Swanson, who is the sheriff of Genesee County. The message came to a close with the following statement: “Many of us worked for years alongside Sgt.
Andringa proudly serving the Fenton area, and he will be missed.” While they are going through this difficult time, we will remember his family, friends, and coworkers in our thoughts and prayers because we care about them.
The members of the Linden Police Department, especially Chief Scott Sutter, along with the remainder of the Linden Police Department, would like to send their thoughts and sympathies to the family, friends, and the Fenton Police Department on the passing of Sergeant Andringa.
My hope is that you are able to get some rest, sir.In addition, the Holly Police Department, Chief Jerry Narsh of the Holly Police Department, and the Holly Police Department all made a statement regarding the incident.
The following are some of the words that were included in the message: “Our deepest sympathy to the men and women of the Fenton Police Department for their loss.” Every member of his family and his circle of friends, whether they are of the same blood or not, is experiencing the same level of anguish that we are. Brother, I hope that you are able to find peace in the afterlife.
