As our family grieves the loss of our brother Terry Geaghan, I will be absent on Facebook for the time being. After experiencing a period of decreasing health, Richard Paul Geaghan, who was 56 years old, passed away on March 14, 2021, at his residence. John and Arline Geaghan welcomed their son into the world on January 23, 1965.
Of their eleven children, Richard was the youngest of the bunch. I was fortunate enough to be a member of such a huge and dynamic family, which meant that life was never boring! Richard was born and raised in Brewer, and he has attended schools in Brewer.
It appeared to him when he was younger that he would start his professional life working in the hospitality business. In addition to his passion for cooking, he worked in a number of restaurants, including one that was owned and operated by his family throughout his career.
Nevertheless, when Richard got older, he was afflicted with a number of ailments, which he unfortunately had to fight throughout his entire life. We believe that Richard is finally at rest, despite the fact that his family and friends will mourn him deeply and grievously. Richard’s troubles have come to an end. His parents, John and Arline (Harvey) Geaghan, as well as his two brothers, Timothy and David Geaghan, and his sister, Kathleen Geaghan, are among those who have passed away before him.
Richard is survived by his siblings and their families, including Michael Geaghan and his wife, Vivian; Terry Geaghan; Christopher Geaghan and his wife, Michelle; Larry Geaghan and his wife, Rhonda; Patrick Geaghan and his wife, Brenda; Carolyn (Geaghan) Mardosa and her husband, Michael; and Peter Geaghan and his wife, Cynthia.
Additionally, Richard is survived by his special aunt and uncle, Joanne and Ken Harvey. There are a great number of nieces, nephews, relatives, and acquaintances who will remember and miss Richard with affection.
