Rebecca Cummings Obituary, Death, American Fork Utah, A Tribute To A Life Well-Lived

We are deeply saddened to notify you of the passing of Rebecca Cummings, who resided in American Fork, Utah. Our hearts are filled with grief as we share this news with you. It is impossible for us to appropriately express how sad it is for us to have to say this. This is something that we are doing with a heavy heart since the information that we are going to share with you is something that we are required to keep to ourselves.

Rebecca has passed away, but she has left behind a legacy of kindness and pleasant memories for those who had the good fortune to have known and loved her through her life. Her entire life has been spent at American Fork High School, and she has been a student there for the entirety of her existence. She has never attended any other school. From the beginning of her existence till the present, she has been a member of the community that exists at the school.

Following an extended period of sickness, Rebecca A. Cummings, age 62, from Southport, North Carolina (BSL), passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Lower Cape Fear Life Care facility in Wilmington, North Carolina. Becky, as she was lovingly called, was born on February 21, 1961 in Southport, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Cecil M. Anderson and Evelyn Grace Autry Anderson, both of whom passed away before her birth. Becky’s parents were not the only people who passed away before her; her husband, Arthur Dale Cummings, and her son, Michael Makeithan Cummings, both passed away before her.

Her brother, William Anderson, her stepdaughter, Christina Crews, her stepsons, Jeremy Cummings and Jason Cummings, as well as her cherished granddaughters, great grandchildren, and niece, are among those who are still alive. Rebecca was held in exceptionally high esteem by the people who lived in American Fork due to the fact that she possessed a number of admirable attributes. The great traits that she possessed earned her the admiration of those around her. It was common knowledge that she was kind, sympathetic, and unwaveringly committed to the people who were in her immediate vicinity and to whom she was offering support.

She provided support to these persons. In addition to it, she was praised for her generosity. That she possessed each and every one of these qualities was common knowledge. During the time that she was spending at American Fork High School, where she had initially enrolled, she remained a student for the rest of her life. During that period of time, she left an indelible impression on the lives of a vast number of individuals, including students, coworkers, and friends, among others.

She was a student throughout the entirety of her life. Throughout all of eternity, the legacy that she leaves behind will continue to live on. In spite of the fact that her spirit and memory will continue to live on in the individuals whose lives she has impacted, the abrupt departure of Rebecca has left a gap in the hearts of everyone who knew her. A void that will never be filled. In the future, Rebecca will be remembered as a result of the efforts that were made by these particular persons.

What we will remember most about her is the love that she offered to those who had the good fortune to have met her, as well as the commitment and compassion that she displayed toward other people. We will remember her for all of these things. We are going to keep her in mind. We will never, ever forget her, even into the future.
