On Friday, December 2, 2022, at her residence, Cynthia L. Hobbs, who was 71 years old and a resident of Trenton, passed away. Her parents, William Moore and Helen (Hancock) Moore, welcomed her into the world on January 16, 1951 in Middletown, Ohio. She had a deep affection for her family and enjoying beach vacations.
Cynthia is survived by her devoted mother, Helen Moore; her cherished children, Amy French, Andy (Christina) French, William Zachary Hobbs, and Timothy David Hobbs; ten devoted grandkids; her adored brothers, Timothy and David Moore; and a large number of family members and friends. Her father, William Patrick Moore, passed away before she did. He was her predecessor. Services are going to be held whenever it is most convenient for the family.
I would like to introduce myself; my name is Heather Shaw, and I am now working to raise money in order to have the cremation of my mother’s bones. She succumbed to complications brought on by a multitude of health issues while she was sleeping. Unfortunately, she did not have life insurance at the time of her demise, and I was not prepared to handle her affairs. I was not prepared to handle her personal affairs.
Following the exhaustion of all other possibilities, I am requesting your donations to assist in covering the costs associated with her end-of-life care. Any amount would be of assistance. However, despite being the youngest of 11 children, Cissy Hobbs became the matriarch of the family after the death of her mother. She was the daughter of John Thomas Hobbs, who passed away, and Elizabeth Ann Stanley Hobbs, who had also passed away.
Following her graduation from Northeast High School in 1981 with honors, she went on to participate in the Macon Junior College program. When she was 16 years old, she began working at K-Mart, where she remained employed for a total of 21 years.
At the most recent point in time, she held the position of accounting manager at MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union, where she had been a devoted employee for the last 21 years and delighted in her work. The deaths of Cissy’s four brothers and four sisters came before her own.
