We are deeply saddened to inform our Warrior Family of the passing of Avery Juarez, who was a former member of our Warrior family. There are a lot of things that remain unresolved and unjust since life may be really complicated.
How tragic that such a gentle and lovely spirit was stolen from this earth much too soon. On Wednesday, September 8, the family will be present at Thomason Funeral Home to meet family and friends beginning at four o’clock and continuing until eight o’clock.
A recitation of the Rosary will take place at seven o’clock. On Thursday, September 9, at ten o’clock in the morning, a Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Following the funeral, the burial will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later time.
The family of Nico would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Christus Hospice of San Marcos for the exceptional care that was provided to her, particularly the love and support that she received from Roxanne and Hilda.
She is also survived by her children: daughter Alma L. Espino; son-in-law Luis R. Espino; son Arturo Juarez Jr. and wife Carla Mancha de Juarez; son Alonzo Juarez and fiancé Laura M. Herrera; grandchildren: Ida M. Michael Gomez, Ingrid Y. Espino, and Manuel A. Jessica; great-grandchildren: Amaris Jerry Escamilla, Justine Gomez, Joseph Michael “Mikey” Gomez, Ivan G. Gomez, Isabella “Bella” G. Espino; great-great-grandchildren: Jax and Avery Escamilla; siblings Juan Dora Castañeda and Luis Nelly Castañeda ; plus several nieces, nephews and friends that thought the world of her. Having the knowledge that Nicolasa is finally at rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father and no longer experiencing any pain brings her family a sense of serenity
