On Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., the funeral service for Stephanie Cockrell, who resided in Cullman, Alabama, will take place at Northbrook Baptist Church. Bro. Dave Wright will preside over the ceremony. Stephanie Cockrell was 44 years old at the time of her passing. Between the hours of twelve and two o’clock, members of the family will be present at the church in order to meet and greet friends.

Immediately following the service, the burial will take place in the Good Hope Cemetery. It is an honor for Cullman Funeral Home to be of assistance to the family at this difficult time.

Jerry Phillips and Barbara Calvert Phillips welcomed their daughter Stephanie into the world on August 17, 1979. Stephanie Phillips was named after her parents. It is with great regret that I must inform you that she departed this life on March 12, 2024. She did not make it through the ordeal alive since her hubby, Jimmy Cockrell, had already perished away.

In addition to her mother, Barbara Calvert Phillips, she is survived by her fiance, John Jinright; her sons, Caleb Cockrell and Cayden Jinright; her daughters, Abigail Cockrell, Kaitlyn Cockrell, and Aynslee Jinright; her sister, Karen Phillips; and a large number of other family members and friends. She was a member of the Cockrell family.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and daughter, Stephanie was also a devoted daughter. She possessed a heart that welled up with sympathy for each and every person who was in her immediate vicinity. The children were the most important thing in her life, and she had an immense amount of love and affection for them. The people who knew and loved her will miss her tremendously, and we will all miss her very much.On Saturday, loved ones and friends of the family are cordially invited to attend a visitation that will take place at Chauvin Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at nine in the morning and continue until the time of the service. Following the reception that will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11:30 a.m., a Liturgy of the Word will be held, and the burial will take place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Both events will take place on the same day.

Stephanie is survived by her devoted family, which includes her husband of thirty-six years, Marshall Edward Brown III; her children, Phillip Paul Brown and his wife Kandra; Marshall Edward Brown IV and his companion Janie LeBlanc; her grandchildren, Kreason R. Turner, Lawson R. Brown, and Mallie R. Brown, Gracee’ K. Brown, Kinsley LeBlanc, and Marshall E. Brown V; her father, Charles “Gray” Folse (Rita Dickey); her siblings, Farah F. Robichaux (Dean), Kent C. Folse (Chi Chi), Jill F. Naquin (Mike), and Dionne F. LeBoeuf (Kerry); and Marshall E. Brown V.

In addition to this, she is survived by a huge number of nieces and nephews who held their “Nana” in the highest regard. Before Stephanie, her mother, Carolyn Navarre Folse, as well as her father and mother-in-law, Marshall “Mickey” Brown Jr. and Doris Rhodes Brown, and her sister-in-law, Darleen Brown, all passed away. Stephanie is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Cooking was something that Stephanie was really passionate about, and she enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. She took great pleasure in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was very fond of spending time with her grandchildren.

Through all of her trips, her “Travel FUNatics” were the most cherished companions she ever had. When she was younger, two of her favorite activities were going fishing at the ranch and camping on Grand Isle. Taking her family and friends out shopping was another activity that she enjoyed doing together.
