On October 16, 2022, Margaret L. Richardson, who was fondly known as “Peggy,” passed away in Jarrettsville, Maryland, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law. She was a resident of Maryland. She had reached the age of 92. During the time that Peggy was still alive, her husband of sixty years, Lawrence “Larry” A. Richardson, Sr., had already passed away.
Peggy was married to him for a total of sixty years during their history together. Her legacy can be carried on by the following individuals: Lawrence A. Richardson, Jr. and his wife, Maryjo, of Forest Hill; Kathy Kerrigan and her husband, Mike, of Bel Air; Joanne Vendetti and her husband, John, of Jarrettsville; and Tim Richardson, of Catonsville.
She has left behind a legacy that can be continued on! It was quite evident that she was a mother who devoted herself to her four children and loved them deeply. The following individuals were her grandchildren: Brendan Kerrigan and his wife, Megan; Cory Richardson; Molly Kerrigan; Lena Petrik and her husband, Andrew; Sean Richardson; Vinny Vendetti; Olivia Richardson; and Lillian Richardson. Molly Kerrigan would also be considered one of her grandchildren. Additionally, she was the loving grandmother of eight grandchildren. She was a doting grandmother. The legacy that she leaves behind will also be carried on by individuals such as Reese Kerrigan, Nora Petrik, and Alessandra Richardson, who are three of her great-grandchildren.
Additionally, her two wonderful caregivers, Dana Mileskie and Kimberly Winkler, will miss her while she is gone. They are going to miss her a great deal. They will feel a profound affection for her from the bottom of their hearts. A total of 57 years were spent at the property that was situated in Parkville, Maryland.
It was there that Peggy and her husband, Larry, brought up their children until the year 2009, when they made the decision to move to Bel Air. She had been a devoted Catholic who had lived a life of devotion up until the time that she moved to Bel Air and joined the congregation at St. Ignatius Hickory Church in Forest Hill, Maryland. She had been a dedicated Catholic until that point.
It was during her time at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Overlea, Maryland, that she was quite engaged. She attended services there and was very active throughout her time there. A prominent member of the congregation, she was respected by all. In addition to her tremendous affection for her family, Peggy had a profound feeling of appreciation for the Baltimore Orioles baseball team and for everything Irish.
She also had a deep affection for her beloved family. A smooth pint of Guinness was one of her favorite beverages, and she was a member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians for a substantial amount of time. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade was another event in which she participated.
time that Peggy spent sitting on the balcony and allowing the warm rays of the sun to illuminate her face was something that she cherished. In addition, she was grateful for the time that she had spent accomplishing this.
She treasured the time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were completely smitten with her. One of her favorite things to do, on the other hand, was to spend time with them by herself. Peggy received her diploma and graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame in 1948. She had completed her studies there during that year.
