The demise of our much loved John Diederich occurred earlier today, and it is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you. Everyone in our family will miss him very much, but the many happy moments and laughter that we enjoyed with will be with us for the rest of our lives.
Paymentson, Utah was the location where John Arthur Diederich passed away on July 1, 2022.
In Aurora, Illinois, on April 4, 1955, John Diederich was born to his parents, Arthur Stephen Diederich and Kathryn Marie Diederich. He received his diploma from West Aurora High School in the year 1973. They were blessed with three great daughters: Melissa, Jennifer, and Amy.
He was married to Nancy Fuller and had three wonderful daughters. In the end, they divorced. John joined the United States Air Force on May 10, 1974, in Aurora, Illinois. He served with distinction for a total of fourteen years, rising through the ranks to become a Staff Sargent through his service.
During his time in the military, he worked in the supply warehouse. John worked as a truck driver for a number of years after he was discharged from the military. He drove both short- and long-haul trucks.
He had a passion for both automobiles and firearms. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed activities such as fishing and hunting. Melissa Diederich is one of John’s daughters who will carry on his legacy. In Anchorage, Alaska, Kevin “OE” Robbins and Jennifer Diederich were both arrested.
Amy Jimmie Alberty of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Frank Geisler of Medowie, Australia; grandsons Teagan and Cooper Alberty; siblings Joe Diederich, Chris Fiddler, Sue St. Jules, Eileen Nagy, Carl Diederich, Dave Krantz, Sandy Krantz, Diane Krantz, and Alice Bennette; and grandchild, Cooper Alberty.
Arthur Diederich, Kathryn Diederich, and Rosemary Diederich all passed away before him. He is the one who came before them. At twelve o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, July 7, 2022, there will be a service held at the graveside with military honors at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, which is located at 17111 South Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale, Utah.
