At the time of his passing, Glenn Eugene Kennedy had reached the age of 83 years ago. Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home for the deceased. On March 1, 1937, he was born in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
His birthplace was in the state of South Carolina. His mother Sara K. Lindsay Burdette and his father Bufford Eugene Kennedy, who passed away, were his parents. Neither of them lived to witness his passing. During the 29 years that Mr. Kennedy spent working as a police officer for the City of Spartanburg, he worked his way up through the ranks to become a lieutenant.
This was before he was promoted to the position of police chief in Landrum, West Carolina. It was also a source of joy for him to serve in the United States Air Force. In addition to work at Wakefield Buick, he attended Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, which was another church that he attended. He also worked at Wakefield Buick. The time that Glenn was able to spend with his family was really enjoyable. Additionally, going to the beach and going on mountain vacations were two of his favorite things to do in addition to fishing. There are members of his family who have survived, including his grandchildren Glenn, Zoi, Tim, Daniel, and Nathan Biggerstaff, as well as his daughter Leslie Biggerstaff Burgess (Jon).
During their 53 years of marriage, he was married to Dianne Richards Kennedy. When Glenn had any spare time, he enjoyed spending it tending to the farm animals and tending to their needs.
It’s possible that when he wasn’t taking care of the farm, he was fishing for the largest fish or targeting the “biggest buck” in the area. Both of these possibilities are within the realm of possibility. During their time together, he and his late wife, Louise, enjoyed a lot of gambling. Prior to his passing, every member of his family had, including his wife Ethel Louise, his grandson Christopher Charles Kennedy, and his parents, Edward and Dolly Kennedy. Each of these individuals had passed away. Two of his sons are named: Charles Kennedy and Kathy Kennedy are residents of Romayor.
There are two Kennedy families: David Kennedy and Debbie live in Crosby, while Thomas Kennedy and Debbie live in Corrigan. In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by his brother Lynn and his sister Odean Schetat, both of whom reside in the location of Corrigan. In addition, he was survived by a large number of grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, in addition to friends and other members of his family.
