Travis Wilson Finley, a man of faith and character, was called to his eternal rest on March 3, 2024, at the age of 49, in Lakeway, Texas. In loving remembrance of Travis Wilson Finley, who passed away. His birth took place on February 22, 1975, in Houston, Texas, and his life served as a demonstration of the values of honesty, thankfulness, and unconditional love for oneself and others. Due to the fact that he exemplified the essence of a kind and caring soul, his spirit of adventure and his heart of joy served as sources of inspiration.
Whether it was boating on Lake Travis, taking pleasure in morning walks, appreciating the pleasure of vacation and travel, or embracing tranquility through the practice of yoga, he spent his spare time being fueled by the sun. Travis excelled in his professional path as the Ordr Partner Sales Director, and his closest colleagues referred to him as “The Mayor of TOLA.” He was a steward of the community and a guiding light to everyone. His path through the academic world at Stephen F. Austin State University was characterized by a dedication to learning and the development of his own personality.
Beyond his professional life, he was committed to his spiritual journey and his commitment at Emmaus Catholic Church, where he embraced the teachings of Christ. His passion stretched beyond his career. Because he was a servant of God, he leaves behind a legacy of unending love that will be long remembered by his dedicated wife, Jacqueline (Jacky) Finley, his adored children Reagan and Colin (Will), and his loving parents, Robert (Bob) and Janis (Jan) Finley.
During the time when Travis was on his way to the Lord, his brother Chad Finley was there to accompany him. Friends and loved ones are cordially invited to attend a memorial ceremony that will be held at Emmaus Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at one o’clock in the afternoon.
It will be a time to celebrate the blessing that Travis’s life has been and to entrust him into the loving embrace of our Creator. Travis Wilson Finley’s spirit should continue to guide and console those he left behind. May he rest in peace, and may his spirit continue so.
