The death of Jeffery Alan Weaver, who was 58 years old and lived in Donalsonville, Georgia, occurred at his residence on the morning of March 1, 2024. On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at three o’clock in the afternoon, a Celebration of Life service will be place at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
The Evangelist Samantha Lightfoot of Christ Tabernacle will preside over the ceremony. As honorary pallbearers, the owners and workers of Elberta Crate & Box will be present at the funeral service. The funeral home will be open for visitation beginning at 2:00 PM, one hour before the service is scheduled to begin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Jeff’s memory to the Seminole County Warpath on Cancer, which is located at 200 W. 10th Street Donalsonville, Georgia 39845, or to the cancer center of your choice. When Mr. Weaver was born on November 8, 1965, he was born in Bainbridge, Georgia to his parents, Ben Weaver and Maxie White Weaver.
Jeff served as the plant manager at Elberta Crate and Box Company for a total of 38 years throughout his employment there. With Lake Seminole and St. George Island being his two favorite spots to go fishing and spending time on the water, he was a true water enthusiast. As a devoted supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs, Jeff was a Georgia fanatic.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Weaver, who resides in Donalsonville, Georgia; his daughters, Allison Hatchman and Ray, who reside in Crawfordville, Florida, and Danielle Barber, who resides in Donalsonville, Georgia; his mother, Maxie Bailey and her husband Jimmy, who reside in Bainbridge, Georgia; his bonus mother, Cheryl Weaver, who resides in Baconton, Georgia; and his sister, Regina King Jimmy Barron, who resides in Ochlocknee, Georgia.
Additionally, Jeff is survived by his in-laws, Charles and Kathleen Ray, who reside in Colquitt, Georgia; his brother-in-law, Tim Ray and Kelly, who reside in Bainbridge, Georgia; his sister-in-law, Tammy Heard and Jerry, who reside in Damascus, Georgia; his grandchildren, Hilton Newsome, Trent Johnson, and Lex Johnson; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Ben Weaver, Mr. Weaver’s father, and Melissa Donley, Mr. Weaver’s sister, passed away before him. Mr. Weaver never met either of them. Georgia Hospice Care, including Karen Rogerson, Kelly Haire, Sandra Haire, Holly Casper, and Chaplain Samantha Lightfoot, as well as Centerwell Home Health, specifically Kristie Hinton and April Lynn, are the recipients of exceptional gratitude from the family. The family would like to express their gratitude to all of these individuals.
