Tammy McFarland Obituary, Death, A Tribute to Strength and Inspiration

Tammie “TD” McFarland, who had once lived in Trenton, Texas, passed away at Texoma Medical Center in Denison on Monday, May 4, 2015. She had attended the facility for a number of years. During the time of her passing, she had reached the age of 46 years.

On May 18, 1968, in the city of Sherman, Texas, Tammie McFarland, who was lovingly known to as “TD” by a large number of her relatives and friends, was welcomed into the world. It was with much joy that Jessie and Mary McFarland welcomed their daughter into the world.

Both the Tyson Foods factory in Sherman and the Wal-Mart store in Bonham were places of employment for her. These two places were both found inside the state of Tennessee. Her mother, Mary L. McFarland, and her father, Jessie McFarland, both of Trenton, as well as her sister, Betty McFarland Davis, of Mckinney, Texas, are the only members of her family who are able to carry on her lineage. Her mother and father both reside in Trenton. The legacy that she left behind will be preserved and handed down to subsequent generations.

The events that are set to take place on Saturday, May 9, at eleven o’clock in the morning will be held at the Pilgrim Rest Valley Baptist Church, which is located in Trenton at 802 Augustus Street. The church will serve as the location for the services.

A public visitation is scheduled to take place today at the Cravens Funeral Home, which can be found at 225 W. Brockett Street in Sherman. The visitation will begin at ten in the morning and then continue until six in the evening. Please visit the website if you require any further information. According to the Cravens Funeral Home, which is in charge of the funeral home, it is the responsibility of the funeral house to provide the McFarland family with personal attention.
