We regret to inform you that Patricia Brennan, our cherished mother, died away peacefully early this morning at the age of 86. Her whole family was there for her in her final weeks, including with her devoted dog “Pipi.” We understand that this may seem a little unusual, but per our mother’s desire, there won’t be a wake or hours of calling for a “wake,” nor a funeral ceremony held.
She has requested Masses to be said for her and prayers for her eternal soul. In order to respect our mother’s desires, we shall stick to this course and refrain from performing any of these things.
She had an amazing life and was kind, compassionate, loving, giving, and patient with everyone she came into contact with. She had no regard for herself and was constantly preoccupied with other people. In recent months, numerous individuals have approached us to share their stories of her exceptional generosity and how they have attempted to emulate her admirable human traits in their own lives.
She raised three children, helped her husband manage the dentistry office, and travelled extensively throughout her remarkably rich life, visiting Canada, Bermuda, Bermuda, England, France, and Italy, among other places. She was always full of life, full of fun, and enjoyed being around other people.
She was in charge of the construction and interior design of the family’s Lake George home, “Sentinel Pines.” She created flower and vegetable gardens on the property because she liked gardening.
She loved to cook, paint, play cards, swim in the lake, ride on the family’s wooden boat after supper, and spend time with her loved ones. She was also a skilled photographer. She was a sports enthusiast who supported.
