In tender memory of Herbert Riedel, who passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Lakeland Long Term Care. Bernie, Margaret, and Lorene, his surviving siblings, treasure his memory. He was predeceased by his father William, mother Martha, and siblings Irene, Wilfred, and Irma.
Herbert was an avid athlete who enjoyed playing golf and bowling, where he had won multiple championships. His extensive literary reading kept his intellect active and focused. Herbert never married, but he dedicated his life to He looked after his sisters to make sure they were happy and safe despite their disabilities.
He donated a great deal of his time and money to his many causes. He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as Uncle Santa by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
