just had a conversation with the mother of Brandon Breedlove, who is 27 years old and has a broken heart. Today is the day he passed away. Early on Saturday morning, a hit-and-run vehicle caused three persons to sustain injuries at the intersection of Mass Avenue and College Avenue.
He was one of the three people who sustained injuries. I was informed by Catherine Hester that her son was 27 years old, had graduated from Danville High School, had served in the Air Force, and had been an organ donor.
He will save three lives during the next six months. Basketball was Brandon’s passion, and he adored Indianapolis. In addition to having a tattoo of Indy on his forearm, he also had a dog named Pacer, which was named after the Pacers.
Catherine acknowledged that the outpouring of love and support from the community has been quite remarkable. She estimates that approximately one hundred individuals came to the hospital to pay their respects. According to her, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department investigator who worked for sixteen hours in a row to make an arrest deserves a particular thank you.
While Salvador Banales was attempting to board a flight, he was taken into custody at the airport. It is thought that he was returning his rental automobile at the airport when the rental car business called the police to report the damage sustained by the vehicle.
According to Catherine, the hit-and-run accident was captured on camera. It is possible that he was in town for the truck conference as well. IMPD has not yet made his mug shot available to the public. Except for the fact that he will be appearing in court for the first time on Tuesday, we do not know too much more about him.
