Tom Miller, Our flags are flown at half mast today in memory of a true rugby gentleman who passed away tragically. He served a club he loved for 60 years, and he personified everything that the sport stands for. Our club and Tommy, who played, coached, officiated, managed, cleaned, picked up litter, set up pitches, helped, supported, and generally made our club wonderful, are deeply saddened by the loss of our club chairman.
Our sympathies are with Tom’s wife Lynn, son Dan, and his grandchildren. Tom loved his family more than rugby. In times of loss, the rugby community comes together and sends its love to everyone who knew Tommy. Thank you, Tommy; we shall miss you.

He worked for CPR, Canada Life, Eatons, and Olivetti Canada after his parents got married before deciding to start his own company. As sales manager at Century Business Machines, he outsold the Branch office in Olivetti office machine sales. Despite his busy schedule, Dad found time to instruct Tammy in baseball, Tom in hockey, and play regular rounds of golf with Tim. He would consistently.
