Matthew Nestor Obituary, Death, A Life Lived with Passion and Purpose

On Tuesday, May 10, 2011, in Inwood, West Virginia, cccccc, 23, of Charles Town, West Virginia, passed away. Matthew Garland Nestor, son of William Garland and Anita Charleen Wills Nestor, was born on September 1, 1987, in Ranson, West Virginia.

The moniker “Chunky” was his father’s, which he cherished. Summit Point United Methodist Church is where he attends. After attending Nashville Auto Diesel School, he received his diploma from Jefferson High School in 2006.

He was a die-hard Titans fan who adored hockey and football. He participated in youth baseball in Summit Point and Pee-Wee football for Clarke County. He enjoyed many genres of music and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his sister Aimee Nestor and her partner Conte Yates of Summit Point, West Virginia; brother Jeremy Nestor and his partner Tracy Williams of Inwood, West Virginia; maternal grandmother Ruth Wills of Charles Town, West Virginia; paternal grandfather Edward Nestor of Charles Town, West Virginia; niece Cierra Yates and nephew Andre Yates of Summit Point, West Virginia.

His maternal grandparents Orland Allen, Jr. and Loriene Gilkerson Allen, his paternal grandfather Jack E. Nestor, and his cousin Michael Nestor all passed away before him.

His wife, Princeton’s Kristy Lynn Baker Nestor; his two stepdaughters, Princeton’s Kelly Willis and Samantha Willis; one brother Being loyal to his loved ones, he was able to spend a long retirement engaging in his hobbies, which included sports, golf, bowling, fishing, and socializing. His devoted 63-year-wife Phyllis, his parents, his brothers Walter, Harold, and Art, as well as his sister Ruth, preceded him in death.
